Saint Nicolas Church

Located in Kali Vrisi
Saint Nicolas Church in Kali Vrisi, built before 1848, features a fine art wood carved iconostasis and a fine altar. The architectural style of the church is a triple-walled basilica. It has wooden roof with an arch and a matroneum. The pulpit and the iconostasis are preserved with icons dating back from 1848 to 1851. The dedication icon of Saint Nicolas in the corner above the western entrance of the church dates back to 1877. On the name day of Saint Nicolas, after mass, a feast is set up with local dishes.
