Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin

According to a legend, until a century ago, the lower-decker reapers who reaped levels in a "complex place" were regularly visited by a visiting lady who told them that there was once a monastery here, that she was from him and was a saint. Since then, this locality has been called the "Saint" (Source: K. Glushkov "The Cross Mountain" p. 63, Asenovgrad 2017)
Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin in Pamporovo - is a triapsid, cruciform structure. At the initiative of God-fearing citizens, in the early 1990s, the Non-profit Association "Christians" was founded, which began the construction of the temple. With the assistance of the Bulgarian National Television, the donation campaign is being promoted throughout the country. It was consecrated on October 30, 1999 by Metropolitan Arseny of Plovdiv in the presence of thousands of worshipers, incl. The President of the Republic and almost the entire Council of Ministers.
