Hiking trail “Mikropoli – Panagia Kastaniotisa”

Located in Charitomeni

It is a trail of medium difficulty of approximately 8.7 km. It starts from the cemetery of Charitomeni and leads to the "Tsatalka" peak of Mountain Menikio at an altitude of 946 m. We follow the dirt road at the beginning. At points, we move off road. After the chapel, we turn left to a forest road. At the end of it starts a signposted trail, all the way to the top. The last part of the trail before the peak is steep and requires attention. The view from the top is amazing.
