Located in Zaburdo
2.5 km from the Wonderful Bridges near the village of Zaburdo is the Tsirikova Church, a peak located in the area of Kabata; a cultural monument of national importance. Today, only the ruins are left of the former fortress, which clearly speak of its existence. On the top, in the place of the former old church, the chapel “St. In the midst of the 17th century, there was a small church in the Kabata area, in the wide clearing, where people were celebrating.
During the funeral service there, a Turkish horde of Delhi Soft with a large horde of Janissaries appeared on Sunday service. He surrounded the church while the residents of the Old Village were inside. He drove them out, unloaded two loads of turkeys and fezes in front of them, and according to the legend, he said, "Hey, boobs, choose either fezas or heads ..." Some obeyed, but most refused. The faithful were brought into the church, where the Turks slaughtered them all together with their young children. The church was uttered by cries and screams heard throughout the mountain. The severed heads of the Bulgarians were thrown into the surrounding cliffs of high rocks and below, and for centuries there were skulls and bones of martyrs buried in the dust. It was from these screams and cries ("chirping") during the slaughter that the ruined church and the top got their name.
